Lingzhi or "herb of spiritual potency" is a type of mushroom used by the Chinese people as a herbal medicine for more than 4,000 years making it the oldest mushroom known to have been used in medicine. The Daoist mystics call this plant the food of the immortals and it symbolises longevity and very good fung shui.
