Rugs and Tapestry
Our rugs and carpets have lovely designs and colours. They are 100% hand-made, from the spinning of the wool, to the dying with vegetable dyes, to the machines that are used to weave. Each machine (called telar) is made by each artisan, following the model of hundreds of years ago. The rugs and carpets depict regional scenery, symbols, myths, stories or simply personal inspirations. This is a long term process but the result is always a piece of art!
