All-purpose electric band furnace , PFEC type for running with regulated atmosphere enables the application of heat treatment and heat and chemical technology of charge within the range 750-960oC.

I n the furnace, among the other things, the following technological processes can be carried out:

* gas carburizing, generally in the temperature from 850oC to 950oC in carburizing atmosphere generated from liquid organic compounds or carrying atmosphere from generator, enriched with natural gas or propane.
* gas carbonitriding , generally in the temperature from 780oC to 900oC in the atmosphere produced from liquid organic compounds or carrying atmosphere from generator, enriched with natural gas or propane, with addition of partially dissociated ammonia.
* heating for hardening in the temperature from 780oC to 960oC - in protective atmosphere generated from liquid organic compounds or in the atmosphere generated natural gas or propane.
* Annealing in the temperature from 650oC to 850oC - in nitrogen atmosphere, and also in protective atmosphere generated from liquid organic compounds or natural gas or propane from the temperature 750oC.

The process of heat or heat / chemical treatment of charge takes place on transport band in the chamber closed by flame curtain , without an access of air from outside, Inside the chamber forced circulation of the furnace atmosphere is being carried out by an atmosphere mixer. This process improves the uniformity of charge heating in utilization area , provides full contact of its faces with the atmosphere and the atmosphere composition levels out over the entire volume of the furnace chamber . Hardening processes are carried out in the oil tank in the back zone of the furnace ,so as to the charge from furnace band falls directly into oil, Energy supply of the furnace ,mechanism and process parameters control is made by control cabinet and the process condition of the most important units is visualized on the synoptic board.
