Software description

Mesh3D is specialized software that enables us an edition of measurement data gained from any 3D measurement system (laser, structural light or touch), and the full control of 3D Scanner produced by SMARTTECH.

The software consists of a wide range of functions for cloud of points edition and their automatic merging. It offers a possibility to merge clouds of points regardless of their position during measurement.

Mesh3D converts results of measurement into a triangular mesh that can be used in other computer systems.


Basic functions

Editing clouds of points:
Deleting/adding points
Selecting groups of points
Noise filtration
Homogenous and adaptive simplification (fig. 2)
Smoothing
Automatic merging of clouds of points (fig.3)
Marking common parts of clouds

Editing triangular meshes:
Automatic trianqulation (fig. 4)
Filling holes in the mesh (fig. 5)
Gradiation minimalization
