The gas cooling systems were developed to lower the temperature of gas to the level enabling the use of filter cloth, with no need to admit the air from the outside. The maximum temperature of the gas at the inlet of the cooler may be about 550-600 °C. The systems are mainly used for cooling gases in glass, aluminium, copper works, foundries, cement mills etc.

Depending on the medium which absorbs the heat, ECO INSTAL manufactures the following types of coolers:

• gas / gas (flat-tube exchangers),
• gas / liquid (plate exchangers).
