Process Technology

An Electrodeposition plant comprises :

· Pretreatment
· Electrodeposition
· Rinsing
· Stoving

After pretreatment, the articles are conveyed to the paint tank. The other components of the system include :



· Pumps and Pipes to provide proper paint circulation in the bath
· Anolite boxes, pipes and holding tank to control pH
· Ultra filteration unit to prove the rinsing medium
· Cooling equipment to control the temprature.
· Rectifier to provide DC voltage
· Storage and holding tanks, pumps etc for paint feeding.

In the Rinse zone liquid paint on articles in rinsed off with UF which return to the paint tank via a cascade system. After rinsing the wet components are transported to the oven where the paint film is cured.
