STAINLESS STEEL SHOT HIGH – CARBON – sharp-angle (breaking) G ( STEEL GRIT)

Shot steel angles (breaking) following ISO norm 11125-1, is made by crumbling steel shot round. We offer it in a three standard hardness in accordance with ISO 11125-3



* Gp : 450 – 550 HV ± 40 HV (45 – 52 ± 2 HRC).

* GL : 600 – 700 HV ± 45 HV (54 – 59 ± 2 HRC).

* Gh : 800 – 950 HV ± 60 HV (64 – 68 ± 3 HRC).

Chemical constitution, like round shot high-carbon is also compatible with ISO 11125-1.

Size of shot’s grit according to spread from G 10 to G 325 following SAE J444 AUG 84, amended in may 1993. Main usage of grit shots to pneumatic stream - abrasive processing in a chamber and cabins in aim to:



* polishing surfaces from pollutions and surfaces degraded
* obtaining roughness of surfaces to facilitate adhesion of protective coating.
* standardization appearance of surfaces
* removing burrs and nobs
* removing carbon deposit form coats hardened thermally GL.
