BWS fuse is a station device, intended for installation in acetylene intake points in acetylene nets, supplied by acetylene generators or by an assembly of acetylene cylinders. Acetylene's collection from acetylene net at a specific point can't be greater than the capacity of the installed fuse.

The fuse protects acetylene generators and installations from explosions which may occur if the flame from welding or cutting burners goes backwards.
