Feed pump engines, AZ-2sM, AZE-3 and AZE-5 are designed mainly for feeding the working fluid into self-advancing long-wall supports, as well as other hydraulic equipment in the mine. They can be used in central pumping stations as well as for feeding covers which require two dimensions of feeding pressure:
• 25-32 [MPa] - for supports (props)
• 12-16 [MPa] - for self-advancing supports transport
They can be also used where there is requirement for efficiency 200 or 400 [dm3/min.] and nominal pressure up to 32 [Mpa].
Feed pump engines comprise of two pumping assemblies working in parallel, one or two water/oil emulsion tanks, high-pressure filters and low-pressure filters.
The pumping units, constituting components of the pump engines, after appropriate small remodelling, may also be used separately in systems designed for water pumping into the unmined coal during coal bed moistening, as well as for wet blasting with the bore high-pressure water filling method.
