KROSS company is a producer of all popular types of bicycles for a wide group of users. From a few years the company is an indisputable leader in the bicycle business on the Polish market and the biggest bicycle producers in Europe. The high level of flexibility of the management and delivery system lets the company meet any order a client might place.
KROSS company was established in 1990. Currently, in Przasnysz there is a modern, certificated production plant which is composed of crossbar welding department, wheel rim manufacturing department, paint shop and assembly department.
KROSS has obtained a number of certificates, awards and distinctions, including ISO 2001 certificated by German company DQS. In November 2004, Mr Zbigniew Sosnowski – the Founder and President of Kross – received the distinction of the Polish Entrepreneur of the Year 2004 in a competition organized by international consulting company Ernst&Young and in May 2005 was affiliated to the gallery of 34 finalists of the world edition, constituted from 10,000 of the best world entrepreneurs.
The company's sales of 2005 exceeds number of 850,000. In 2006 Kross company is to achieve the factory’s production capacity of 1 million of bicycles annually. Kross holds 45% market share in the Polish bicycle market. Apart from the development of the Polish market, Kross has been intensively developing its export sales. The main export markets comprise: France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Scandinavia. In 2005, export sales exceeded 50% of the total sales.
EXPANSION
Kross GmbH opened in Germany and Kross AO - in Russia.
